The Vedas collectively called shruti sing the praise of the Absolute in 28 shlokas in the tenth skanda of Srimad Bhagavatam.  Usually the expositors and Puranikas who expound the Bhagavatam  may not spend much time on this.  It is densely packed with Vedantic (Advaitic) ideas.  Also the shlokas are rather difficult to understand, because it is all in terse Sanskrit. We take up our first three selections in Sruti Gita Part 1, out of these 28 shlokas.  The whole piece has come to be known as Shruti Gita.  We may probably end up by doing only 10 or 15 of these shlokas.
