Dr M.A Lakshmi Tatachar’s talk on Jagat as per Sankhya Yoga

Dr.M.A. Lakshmi Tatachar is a rare combination of traditional scholarship with modern research acumen.
He was Prof. of Sanskrit in the Bangalore University. Later he founded the academy of Sanskrit Research in Melkote and nurtured it so well that it has become an international centre for Sanskrit studies.
He has published many books and also research articles.
He was mainly instrumental in collecting numerous manuscripts and preserving them in Melkote.
At Present he holds many prestigious positions like the Chairman, Centre for literary Research, Indian Institute of Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine (IIAIM).
Reared a traditional aromatic garden having more than 200 different spiritually? significant flowers and plants having medicinal qualities based on principles of Aroma Therapy. Engaged in preservation and conservation of traditional Indian breeds of Cows? for last 40 years.
Presently working on a private research project for utilizing Cow-Urine for medicinal purposes.
Expert in Carnatic Music (Vocal and Flute)? & Research Methodology in Carnatic Music Jointly Authored a book ‘Sri Ramanuja – Life? & Philosophy’.
Acted in the lead role of “Acharya Ramanuja” in the film titled? “Ramanujacharya” produced and directed by the famous award winning Director Sri G.V.Iyer.
Professor Lakshmi Tatachar is closely associated with our institute and has participated in many of the Seminars organized by us.
We are indeed thankful to him for accepting our invitation to present his paper on the concept of JAGAT according to Sankhya and Yoga.
